Security Assessment & Vulnerability Management

We uncover vulnerabilities across your IT infrastructure through penetration testing, risk analysis, vulnerability scanning and compliance checks, then help you prioritise and close them.

Delivered directly by the CSL team.

The challenge

Most organisations do not have a clear, current picture of where they are exposed, so security budgets go to the wrong places.

How CSL helps

  • Vulnerability scanning

Continuous or scheduled scanning across servers, endpoints, cloud and web assets.

  • Risk analysis

Weaknesses ranked by business impact and likelihood, not just severity scores.

  • Configuration review

Firewalls, servers and cloud services checked against security baselines.

  • Security architecture review

How your network, identity and data protections fit together — and where gaps remain.

  • Compliance gap analysis

Where you stand against ISO 27001, NIST and industry rules.

  • Remediation tracking

Fixes followed through to closure, with re-scans to confirm.

Questions we often hear

What is a cybersecurity assessment?

A cybersecurity assessment reviews your systems, configurations and processes to identify vulnerabilities and measure risk. Cyber Sentinel Lab combines vulnerability scanning, risk analysis and targeted testing to give you a prioritised plan.

What is vulnerability management?

Vulnerability management is the ongoing cycle of finding, prioritising, fixing and verifying security weaknesses. It keeps your exposure low as new systems are added and new threats appear.

How long does a security assessment take?

Most assessments take between one and four weeks, depending on the number of systems, locations and applications in scope.

Where should we start if we have never had an assessment?

Start with a broad security assessment. It shows where your biggest risks are, so later investments such as penetration testing or new tools are targeted where they matter most.
